Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals, maintain kitchen standards, and collaborate with staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

We seek three to five years of line cook experience, hotel/resort background preferred, and willingness to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. The position offers hourly pay between $23.00 and $24.00, with benefits and growth opportunities in a luxury wellness

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Line Cook experience.
• Hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Must be able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive and cleaning maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Completes meal preparation by grilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients; verifying doneness and taste; assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Presents meals by placing and arranging hot and cold elements using plates, dishes, bowls, and baskets.
• Controls costs by adhering to recipes; following preparation standards.
• Maintains a sanitary kitchen by adhering to state and local sanitation, storage, and refrigeration requirements and codes; cleaning equipment.
