Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Line Cook for the British Airways lounge at IAD. You will prepare and present hot and cold items across meal periods, ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include following recipes, planning production, and maintaining a clean workstation. Requires ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds; prior food handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold items following Sodexo culinary standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for all menu items.
• Estimate food requirements and plan production accordingly.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety standards.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen and support team operations.
• Perform additional duties as needed by account or client.
