Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group, a Compass Group division, is seeking a hands-on Cook Supervisor for the Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). You will supervise daily food production, ensure exceptional quality, and uphold safety standards while delivering a premium guest experience.

The ideal candidate has culinary leadership experience, strong cooking skills, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

2+ years of culinary leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety.
Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead cooks and kitchen team during daily operations.
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure food is prepared, displayed, and served with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Monitor production levels and support efficient kitchen workflow during peak service periods.
Train, coach, and mentor culinary team members on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and service expectations.
Maintain compliance with all HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and airport security requirements.
Assist with inventory management, product rotation, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives.
Collaborate with management to ensure seamless execution of lounge dining experiences, special offerings, and events.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
