Our client, a buzzing, well-established restaurant in Waterloo, is searching for experienced Line Cooks to join their talented team.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with the client, so you’ll be part of the family from day one!

Shift: Full time, Flexible schedule, days, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Keep pace with quality and precision in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare high volume of food orders according to recipes
• Maintain high level of cleanliness, organization, and time management
• Work as part of a team with kitchen staff
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen is upheld to the highest level at all times
• Be passionate about service and food

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in a high-volume kitchen as a COOK
• Safe Food Handling knowledge (Certificate preferred)
• Solid understanding of kitchen prep techniques, portioning and serving
• Able to maintain high level of quality and consistency
• Drive to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
• Anti-slip footwear
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Reliable, punctual and dependable
