We are seeking hospitality industry professionals with experience working in upscale, fine dining establishments.

Line Cook Job Overview

  • Cook and prepare all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line
  • Prepare and portion food items prior to service
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Answer, report and follow instructions from the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with guests and colleagues

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of similar experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry's best practices
  • Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Work flexible schedules and willing and able to work shift duties that may include late evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Collaborate with Colleagues cross-departmentally
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Work cohesively with Colleagues as part of a team
