Position Summary

Prep and Line Cooks ensure that each Fan receives an unforgettable meal. Prepares dishes according to Primanti Bros. recipes and specifications in a timely manner.

Essential Functions

• Prepares a variety of food, following specific methods and presentation standards across all stations including Appetizer, Bread & Fries, Grill, Pizza, and Salad.
• Completes prep work, labels food according to Shelf Life Chart, and stocks stations.
• Adheres to safety, sanitation, and HACCP policies.
• Prepares orders per recipe specifications promptly.
• Communicates effectively with team members about ticket times and issues.
• Ensures proper product rotation and stock levels.
• Maintains a cooperative work environment and completes cleaning and checklist duties.
• Performs additional duties as requested by Coach.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and write in English.

• Dependable, enthusiastic, courteous, and able to multitask.
• Basic math skills.

Qualification Standards

• Stand 100% of the shift; lift up to 50 lbs.; work in hot environments; handle sharp knives and hot plates; operate kitchen machinery.
