WHAT OUR LINE COOKS DO:

  • Prepare dishes using standard recipes
  • Cook meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables with various techniques
  • Maintain sufficient food stock levels
  • Portion food according to standards
  • Follow presentation and garnish guidelines
  • Keep workstation clean and sanitary
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards
  • Memorize serving sizes and prep procedures
  • Assist in food prep during off-peak times
  • Monitor food freshness and rotate stock properly
  • Open and close kitchen following checklists
  • Ensure quality of served products
  • Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, and policies
  • Communicate proactively to resolve issues
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance
  • Contribute positively to team environment
  • Be flexible to ensure smooth operations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least one year of cooking experience, preferably in high-volume kitchens
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment
  • Professionalism and passion for hospitality and food
  • Ability to communicate in workplace language(s)
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Capable of standing for long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Physical activities including bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Exposure to allergens such as nuts, seeds, soy, shellfish, and dairy
