Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen is seeking a Wood-Fired Pizza Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The role emphasizes crafting high-quality artisan pizzas with consistency in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings, operate a wood-fired oven, and maintain a clean, efficient pizza station while supporting the kitchen and communicating with chefs to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pizza cook or line cook preferred.
• Familiarity with wood-fired ovens and artisan pizza techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of dough preparation and fermentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas according to recipes, quality standards, and ticket times.
• Stretch, shape, and top pizza dough with precision and consistency.
• Operate and monitor a wood-fired oven, maintaining proper temperatures and cooking techniques.
• Prepare daily ingredients including dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, and fresh toppings.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient pizza station throughout service.
• Work quickly and accurately during high-volume service while maintaining food quality.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with kitchen prep, stocking, inventory rotation, and end-of-shift cleaning.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
