Job summary

Kings Creek Country Club, Inc seeks a Line Cook for our state-of-the-art kitchen. You will prepare diverse items, maintain line stations, and ensure clean, sanitary work areas while delivering visually appealing plates.

We value flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to grow culinary skills in a premier club setting along Delaware’s coast.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment required.
• Knowledge and passion for cooking.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background check required.

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes.
• Multi-tasks and anticipates needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible for closing the kitchen according to the closing checklist.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work is primarily standing and walking primarily on a level surface, though the occasionally slippery floor.
• Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
