Job summary

Turning Point Restaurants is a daytime-only breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept with 30+ corporate locations across NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL and additional franchised sites. We are seeking outstanding, enthusiastic team members to join our growing company and support a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities include proper food handling, preparing and cooking across multiple stations, following recipes in English or Español, and helping all shifts with a positive, team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced restaurant environment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read in English or Español and follow recipes and instructions.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy items and work in a high-temperature kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Proper food handling and storage.
• Preparing and portioning food prior to cooking.
• Accurately and efficiently cooking food.
• Read and follow recipes in English or Español; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Learn and work across all kitchen stations (three cooking stations, prep, dishwashing).
• Support managers and team to ensure smooth operations.

• Proper food handling and storage


• Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking


• Accurately and efficiently cooking food


• Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines


• We have many positions in our kitchens. You will be expected to learn and work in all areas. This includes the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions


• Our managers will never ask you to do something they would not do themselves

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required


• Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position


• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy


• Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
