Job summary

The Turning Point LLC in Virginia is hiring for kitchen positions across our fast-paced operation. We offer daytime shifts, a full training program, and opportunities to move between locations, including our 30+ corporate sites in NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL.

Responsibilities include proper food handling, portioning, and cooking. Bilingual English/Spanish support is provided. Flexible scheduling and discounted meals are offered, with growth opportunities through internal promotions.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required.
• Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position.

Responsibilities

• Proper food handling and storage.
• Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking.
• Accurately and efficiently cooking food.
• Ability to read in English OR Español and follow recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and safety.
• Learn and work in all kitchen stations (three cooking stations, prep, and dishwashing).
• Managers set a good example and expectations are aligned with health guidelines.

• Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
• We have many positions in our kitchens. You will be expected to learn and work in all areas. This includes the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions
• Our managers will never ask you to do something they would not do themselves

• Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
