Felipe’s Taqueria in New Orleans is hiring Restaurant Line Cooks to prepare and serve scratch-made Mexican food. This guest-facing role involves making burritos, tacos, bowls and more while delivering friendly service.

We offer training for team members who are eager to learn, with opportunities for advancement. Positions include full-time and part-time shifts, with morning, afternoon and evening coverage.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, portions and presentation standards
• Prepare dine-in, takeout, online and catering orders
• Keep the service line clean, stocked and organized
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Rotate products and assist with receiving deliveries
• Communicate with cooks, prep cooks, cashiers, bartenders and managers
• Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
• Complete opening, shift-change and closing responsibilities as assigned

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

About the Position

Felipe’s Taqueria is hiring Restaurant Line Cooks to prepare and serve our scratch-made Mexican food. This is a guest-facing position on our service line where team members prepare customized burritos, tacos, bowls, quesadillas, salads, nachos and other menu items.

Line Cooks work together to provide friendly service, maintain food quality and keep the restaurant running smoothly. Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We provide training for team members who are ready to learn.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service

Prepare menu items according to each guest’s selections

Follow recipes, portions and presentation standards

Prepare dine-in, takeout, online and catering orders

Keep the service line clean, stocked and organized

Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
