Major Food Group is hiring Line Cooks to join our team at Contessa.

Contessa, inspired by old-world resorts and the estates of Italy, offers cuisine embodying the elegance of Northern Italian Trattorias. The restaurant features all-day dining, including breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, and crafted cocktails, with menus ranging from imported salumi and house-made pasta to dry-aged Chianina Beef.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
• Follow instructions from executive or sous chef
• Clean station and manage leftovers
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure timely, high-quality food output

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in high-volume or fine dining restaurants, but not required
• Culinary diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
