Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
- Prepare menu items according to the company recipe manual and plate presentation standards.
- Ensure rotation of all products and stock items to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Complete assigned prep work, stock, and set up stations as needed.
- Transport items to and from the kitchen, assist vendors with unloading deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area throughout the shift.
- Break down and clean all stations at closing.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Stand and walk 100% of the shift; reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
- Speak, read, and write English; read recipes, food labels, and POS ticket orders.
- Communicate ticket times, ensure food flow, and report issues to the manager.
- Safely operate kitchen machinery (grills, stoves, slicers, etc.) and handle hot or sharp items safely.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift; reach high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
- Work in high-temperature, damp environments indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning as needed.
- Complete and pass food safety certification in accordance with company and state regulations.
Additional Details
- Work five days a week with two consecutive days off.
- Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 years.
- Christmas bonus after 1 year of employment (equivalent to one week’s pay).
