Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for the production and preparation of all menu items by following kitchen checklists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare orders according to guest specifications, paying special attention to allergens and notes on orders.
2. Prepare the kitchen line and all necessary products for service, following checklists.
3. Work at assigned kitchen stations.
4. Receive and verify purchased items for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
5. Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
6. Clean kitchen equipment.
7. Reorganize work areas in preparation for the next shift.
8. Comply with all relevant regulations regarding food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume, energetic food and beverage environment.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to food safety and sanitation.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to move around frequently and operate kitchen tools and equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
