Join our Culinary team as an Experienced Line Cook at the Hyatt Regency DFW, located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The hotel features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of event space.

We are seeking a full-time experienced cook with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

What are you responsible for?

The Experienced Line Cook is a senior role within our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and a desire to grow professionally. This is not an entry-level position. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking food according to recipes, maintaining high quality and presentation standards, and adhering to safety and sanitation policies.

  • Follow all company safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Learn and master new stations and responsibilities quickly.
  • Strive to advance to the next level of culinary expertise by demonstrating commitment to quality and pride in the profession.
Qualifications

How do you know if this job is for you?

Preferred qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of previous culinary experience.
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking skills.
  • Ability to review recipes, assemble, and cook ingredients per Hyatt standards.
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, including HACCP documentation.
  • Ability to store food properly and maintain cleanliness.
  • Willingness to train and work on various cooking lines and departments.
  • Ability to lead by example and mentor junior cooks.
