Bon Appétit Management Company operates over 1,000 cafés across the country for corporations, universities, museums, and public restaurants. We lead the industry in socially and environmentally responsible sourcing, using sustainable seafood, cage-free eggs, and cooking everything from scratch with fresh, local ingredients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, and is attractive and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
  3. Use established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
  4. Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures.
  5. Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensure food and supply items are stored per standards.
  6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  7. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
  8. Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
  9. Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  10. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
  11. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  12. Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
