We are seeking a Prep/Line Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food items according to production requirements and quality standards, while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Duties include assisting the Executive and Sous Chef with daily tasks, contributing to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items with a positive attitude
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safety and sanitation
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures
- Check food quality and rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Prepare food ahead of time without over-preparing
- Manage stock levels, determine preparation needs, and set up stations
- Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control
- Portion, garnish, and serve food to servers and bartenders
- Test foods for doneness using tasting, smelling, or piercing methods
- Properly store unused food items with correct labeling and dating
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- Preferably 2 years of culinary experience
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional demeanor
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Physical Environment:
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds
