Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants in Carmel, IN is seeking a line cook to support kitchen operations. You will maintain prep areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.

You will read orders, prepare items quickly and accurately, and ensure quality and portion control. You will clean and restock your station at shift start and end, and assist with additional preparations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Manages sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Reads food orders and/or receives verbal instructions and prepares orders quickly and accurately.
• Cleans and restocks station at the beginning and end of each shift, preps additional items as necessary.
• Ensures prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements.
• Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Other duties as requested by management.
