Job summary

Black Angus Steakhouse LLC in Bakersfield, CA is hiring LINE COOKS to deliver Memorable Dining Experiences for our Guests. You will present a warm, enthusiastic service attitude, ensure the lunch line is set and stocked, and help with grill work and fryers to prep orders.

You will stock reach-ins, handle issues with a positive attitude, support the broiler cook, maintain a safe environment, and thrive in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Able to work collaboratively in a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grill orders for lunch line.
• Ensure lunch line is set and stocked before opening.
• Handle all grill work and fryer tasks; slice meats as needed.
• Stock reach-ins and assist in order preparation.
• Respond to guest concerns positively and professionally.
• Support the broiler cook in preparing orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and work environment.

We are looking for LINE COOKS who know how to provide a Memorable Experience for our Guests. Can you:

• Present a warm, friendly and enthusiastic service-oriented attitude
• Ensure lunch line is set and fully stocked prior to opening
• Handles all grill work and fryers. Slices Prime Rib and assists in setting up all orders
• Works lunch line, if assigned, as directed by Chef
• Stocks reach-in's
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude NO MATTER WHAT
• Support Broiler Cook in preparing orders
• Ensure a safe environment for Guests and Employees
• Perform these duties in a conscientious, company-oriented manner manner to ensure Guest satisfaction
• Be passionate about working in a fast paced, team environment
• Be available on ALL Holidays
