Job summary

AMA Atlanta is seeking a dedicated line cook to maintain the line area and food items and to provide a positive leadership role for hourly staff in a fast-paced kitchen located in Atlanta, GA. This full-time role emphasizes consistency, safety, and quality in all food preparation activities.

Responsibilities include following established menus, recipes, and safety logs, using checklists for shift setup and close-down, and ensuring proper food rotation with FIFO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required.
• Experience with quantity food preparation preferred.
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes.
• Standing, bending, crawling, using hands to grasp, stoop, reach overhead, walk for 10-12 hours at a time.
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs.
