Job summary

Zalat Pizza in Houston, TX is seeking a Head Coach (Multi-Unit Leader) to drive excellence across two locations. You will lead, coach, and develop Line Coaches, Keys, and hourly Zealots, building strong teams that deliver consistent pizza and guest experiences.

You will balance people, product, and process while partnering with GMs to manage labor, costs, and quality. The role demands hands-on leadership, flexible schedule, and a commitment to Zalat's standards and culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-unit or high-volume management experience.
• Proven record of developing teams and promoting from within.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation between assigned stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team across two stores.
• Create individualized development plans and provide regular feedback and follow-up.
• Model ownership and Zalat values in leadership—build empowered teams.
• Maintain a strong presence in both stores, fostering culture and consistency.
• Identify leadership potential and build bench strength through succession planning.
• Ensure stores deliver consistent product quality—every pizza, every time.
• Reinforce dough, sauce, bake, cut, garnish, and final check procedures.
• Support daily operations, including shifts and pizza making.
• Partner with GMs to manage labor, food cost, and financial health.
• Conduct store walks and audits with a coaching mindset, aiming to improve.
