Job summary

Wright Tree Service in Lake Isabella, CA is seeking a qualified Tree Trimmer. You will prune and remove trees and limbs near power lines, using climbing equipment and ground tools to maintain clearance and tree health.

The role requires safety training, the ability to work long hours, and adherence to OSHA standards. A valid driver's license and First-Aid/CPR certification are preferred, with on-site training provided. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs not suited for wood chipping.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Works aloft to cut branches or trunk sections and lowers them safely.
• Fells trees or spars using appropriate tools and pieces.
• Maintains safety by following policies and wearing PPE around energized conductors.
