Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced climbing Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to join our team servicing the Kinsman, OH region. You will lead a 2-5 person crew to perform pruning and removal for electric utilities, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires a valid driver s license, line clearance experience, and the ability to obtain any state licenses. Training includes Davey Tree Orientation, First Aid/CPR, and defensive driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses upon hire.
• Required: valid driver s license.
• Preferred: CDL Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as per state law.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in pruning and removal for major electric utilities.
• Prune treetop and remove damaged trees as needed.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Apply tree identification knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Inspect job sites with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as an experienced climbing Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson, joining our team servicing the Kinsman, OH region.

Job Duties

Lead a2-5 person treecrew inperforming all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully formajor electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:

• Pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application oftree identificationknowledgeand industry pruning guidelines
• Perform job-siteinspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
• Mentor and train new employees
