Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a Groundhand to support crews by clearing trees and branches around power and communication lines. You will hoist tools, position ladders, and assist with cutting and loading debris.

You should be willing to travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV, with overtime and emergency storm duties as needed. A valid driver's license is preferred and safety training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License or CDL preferred.
• Experience in line clearance or groundwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews by clearing trees and branches around power and communication lines.
• Hoist tools and equipment to crew members.
• Position and steady ladders for elevated work.
• Saw, cut, and load debris and trunks onto trucks.
• Travel to multiple states as required by contracts and may include storms.
