Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a Groundhand to support crews in clearing trees and branches around communication and power lines. The role involves hoisting tools, handling ladders, and assisting with cutting and loading debris across multiple states.

Travel is required to various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV, with overtime periods as needed. A valid driver's license or CDL is preferred, and accommodations for travel are possible as contracts demand.

Qualifications

• Assist crews in clearing trees and branches that interfere with lines.
• Hoist tools to crew members and lower branches with rope or block and tackle.
• Position and steady ladders for crew work.

Responsibilities

• Saw and cut up branches and brush.
• Load debris, tree trunks, and limbs onto trucks.
• Travel to job sites as required by contracts.
• Flag traffic using stop/slow paddle and two-way radio.
