Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service is seeking a Groundhand to support crews in clearing trees and branches that interfere with power and communication lines. You will hoist tools, position ladders, and assist with cutting and loading debris on job sites.

Responsibilities include carrying chainsaws, handling fuel and oil, and aiding in brush mulching and traffic flagging as needed. CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required; travel across PA, MD, OH, VA and WV is expected.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding labor in outdoor environments.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and adapt to field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews in clearing trees and branches that interfere with lines.
• Hoist tools and equipment to crew members; lower branches with rope or tackle.
• Position ladders and secure work areas; saw and cut brush; load debris and trunks; operate winch and chipper.
