Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service is seeking a capable Groundhand to assist crews in clearing trees and branches along power and communication lines. This role involves hoisting tools, positioning ladders, cutting brush, loading debris, and traveling to project sites across several states.

A valid driver’s license is preferred; the work requires physical endurance, willingness to work overtime, and compliance with our drug-free workplace policy.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews by clearing trees and branches around lines.
• Hoist tools, position ladders, and cut brush.
• Load debris and cut trunks with winch and chipper.
• Travel to various project sites and work overtime as needed.
