Job summary

Wright Tree Service in the United States is seeking a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees and limbs near power lines, using climbing equipment, lifts, and ground tools. You will work aloft and on the ground, following rigging and safety protocols to minimize vegetation interference and maintain tree health.

The role requires basic tree knowledge, adherence to OSHA regulations, and the ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of tree trimming or clearing crew experience.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions and standards.
• Knowledge of ANSI Z133.1 and ANSI A300 standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, remove trees and limbs near power lines with climbing or ground tools.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain vehicles and tools.
• Work aloft with rigging lines and lower debris to ground.
• Adhere to safety practices and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Assist with supervision of less experienced employees when qualified.
• Perform herbicide applications and maintain records as required.
