Job summary

Schwan's Company in Fullerton, CA is seeking a full-time packaging/production associate for the 1st shift. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

You must meet quality standards and safety regulations, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and adapt to rotating schedules including weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong manual dexterity and repetitive motion capability.
• Adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues or equipment problems.
• Comply with USDA, OSHA, GMPs and safety regulations.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
