CJ Schwan's Kentucky production facility is hiring a full-time production operator. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift differential for hours between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

You will package, inspect, and ensure quality, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, 401(k) matching, and disability plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity and repetitive motion tolerance.
• Adaptable to rotating schedules, weekends and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products, document waste, and notify supervisor of issues.
• Operate in compliance with USDA, OSHA, GMPs and safety regulations.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
