Job summary

Physicians Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our Chattanooga, TN team. The role encompasses performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, preparing the exam room, and supporting Medical Assistant duties as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and a TN State X-Ray License; ARRT certification is preferred. Prior Medical Assistant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to the next step in treatment.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help in emergencies.
• Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Maintain and document patient vital signs and relevant medical history.
