Job summary

Urgent Team in the Greater Knoxville area is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our clinical team.

This full-time role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, and assists with Medical Assistant duties, with a rotating 36-40 hour weekly schedule including 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends.

Candidates should hold a TN X-Ray license, BLS, and preferably ARRT certification; HS diploma required and MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TN State X-Ray License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and provide directions to the next step in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and with procedures supervised by the provider.
• Document patient information, vitals, history, medications and allergies.
• Conduct radiology procedures and ensure radiation safety and shielding procedures.
