Job summary

Physicians Care in Chattanooga, TN is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role involves performing X-ray testing, handling patient movement, preparing the room, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.

The schedule is a full-time 36-40 hour week with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN opportunities are available. Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS, and TN X-Ray license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• TN State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs them through the exam process
• Operates radiology equipment and performs X-ray procedures
• Ensures patient safety and radiation protection
• Documents patient history and vitals per procedure
• Assists with front desk tasks and patient check-in/out as needed
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions
• Completes required documentation for patient visits
