Job summary

USA Multifamily Management, Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager for a 240 unit Senior Community in Citrus Heights, CA. The role reports to the Community Manager and is full-time, non-exempt, with a salary of $28-$31 per hour.

Candidate will handle LIHTC compliance, leasing inquiries, resident file maintenance and rent posting while supporting financial review and vendor coordination. LIHTC knowledge and YARDI Voyager experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six (6) months of on-site property management experience at a Tax Credit; Section 42 property (LIHTC - Low Income Housing Tax Credit).
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong skills in customer service and sales.
• Experience in YARDI Voyager is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with LIHTC, Bond, MHP, RHCP and HOME program requirements.
• Ensures paperwork is completed accurately and processed as directed by Community Manager and Compliance.
• Completes resident applications within two weeks and recertifications on time.
• Balances multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintains quality of work.
• Responds to leasing inquiries and maintains a current database of traffic-related activities.
• Monitors marketing efforts and develops new strategies.
• Handles resident complaints and concerns as directed by the Community Manager.
• Addresses safety hazards and uses PPE when completing tasks.
