Job summary

USA Multifamily Management, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for the 224-unit Senior community Vintage at Snowberry in Riverside, CA.

The role reports to the Community Manager; it is non-exempt and full-time with a salary of $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities include ensuring LIHTC compliance, processing applications and recertifications, posting rent payments, and coordinating with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six (6) months of on-site property management experience at a Tax Credit; Section 42 property (LIHTC - Low Income Housing Tax Credit)
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with LIHTC and related regulations.
• Present information clearly to residents and staff.
• Process paperwork as directed by the Community Manager and Compliance.
• Complete initial applications within two weeks of application date; complete recertifications on time.
• Multitask while balancing work quality with deadlines.
• Use critical thinking to solve problems.
• Collaborate with others to reach community goals.
• Follow Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and apartment laws.
• Maximize rental income.
• Review aged receivables and collect balances.
• Assist with community financials and expenses.
• Post rent payments and subsidies where applicable.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Handle resident complaints and requests.
• Monitor marketing efforts and develop new strategies.
• Respond to leasing inquiries and maintain traffic database.
• Complete required monthly tasks.
• Use PPE when performing tasks.
• Report safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
