You will focus on compliance, resident relations, leasing, and financial health of the property. The role requires leadership across multiple sites, strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, and the ability to manage budgets and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience with LIHTC and Section 8 properties.
• In-depth knowledge of affordable housing compliance.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation and rent collections.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations to ensure high service standards for residents.
• Lead and supervise the leasing team, manage resident applications, screenings, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Ensure full compliance with Project-Based Section 8 regulations, including annual recertifications and waitlist management.
• Monitor compliance with affordable housing regulations and ensure policies are followed.
• Develop and manage the property's budget, ensure financial goals are met, and monitor rent collections.
• Build strong relationships with residents and address concerns to maintain a positive community atmosphere.
• Coordinate with maintenance, vendors, and contractors for capital improvements and maintenance projects.
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and ownership.
