Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Community Manager - LIHTC to oversee a LIHTC and Section 8 tax credit community in Maryland. You will manage resident files, ensure HUD/HUD LIHTC compliance, and supervise staff while coordinating lease administration, finances, and maintenance operations.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of housing laws, and proficiency with MS Office. Onsite management with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years managing LIHTC and Project-based Section 8 communities.
• Two years supervisory experience with staff and management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws (local, state, and federal).
• Proficient with MS Office and reporting tools.
• Onesite software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance and recertification programs for PB Section 8 and LIHTC.
• Perform supervisory, administrative, and management functions in property operations.
• Supervise all assigned staff and assist residents with lease requirements.
• Conduct background checks and approve or reject applicants.
• Show apartments, explain dwelling operation, and lease vacant units.
• Monitor eligibility, waiting list, and lease/accounting records; collect rents and prepare reports.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and monitor contractors.
