Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Community Manager to oversee HUD and LIHTC compliant affordable housing communities in Maryland. You will manage tenant relations, leasing, inspections, and reporting while coordinating maintenance and staff.

The role requires strong knowledge of HUD regulations, LIHTC requirements, budgeting, and leadership experience in property management. Onsite work with potential travel to related offices and training sessions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, property management, or related field or equivalent experience.
5–10 years of property management experience in affordable housing, HUD or LIHTC programs.
Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and LIHTC compliance and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily property operations, ensure maintenance and regulatory compliance.
Manage tenant leasing, screenings, applications, and move-ins/move-outs.
Ensure HUD and LIHTC standards, annual recertifications, inspections, and reporting.
Supervise maintenance staff or contractors and manage budgets and expenses.
Maintain accurate HUD/LIHTC documentation and prepare compliance reports.
Lead onsite staff, conduct evaluations, and provide training.
Oversee rent collection, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Coordinate emergency procedures and risk management.
Develop marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy and retention.
