Job summary

Gateway Management Company seeks a Property Manager for Sankofa Landing in Durham, NC to oversee daily operations of affordable housing communities. You will manage administration, compliance, property maintenance, and staff to achieve occupancy and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of property management experience with tax credit/LIHTC exposure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience supervising office and maintenance staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed occupancy, rent collection, expenses and compliance goals.
• Recruit, supervise, train, and assign office and maintenance staff.
• Operate in compliance with LIHTC, IRS laws and fair housing.
• Oversee maintenance, schedule contractors, and unit turnover.
• Maintain resident relations and promptly address requests.
• Collect rents, post to resident accounts, and safeguard funds.
• Report incidents to Regional Manager/corporate office.
