Related Affordable is seeking an Occupancy and Recertification Specialist in Anaheim, CA to manage LIHTC certifications, calculate retroactive rents, collect documents, and ensure rents are compliant under HUD guidelines.

You will interact with residents, maintain accuracy across certifications, review EIV reports, and support site operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

• LIHTC knowledge and policies required.
• 2–4 years leasing experience.
• Detail oriented with deadline-driven schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide preeminent affordable housing accommodations in the community.
• Create a welcoming experience and sense of community through daily interactions with residents.
• Process certifications (initial, interim, annual); calculate retroactive rent per guidelines.
• Collect documentation from residents and process verifications.
• Apply correct rents for annual and interim recertification; ensure compliance.
• Explain rent calculations and prepare rent repayment agreements per HUD guidelines.
• Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision in a busy environment.
• Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
