Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist with tax credit experience to join our team. Under the Community Manager, you will support all aspects of community operations, including leasing, marketing, and tenant services.

Responsibilities include ensuring LIHTC compliance, processing leases, renewals, and coordinating resident activities to drive retention. Minimum 3 years of onsite leasing experience is required; HCCP/COS preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of onsite leasing experience in multi-family housing, hospitality or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HCCP designation preferred for LIHTC.
• COS designation preferred for Section 8.
• 1 year of LIHTC experience.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service and leasing tasks: marketing, greeting prospects, gathering information, setting appointments, showing apartments, generating quotes, closing, deposits, and assisting with rental applications and credit verification.
• Ensure all tax credit requirements are followed.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Insert renewal rates as approved and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Review resident files and balances, collect delinquencies, and enforce the lease to maximize revenue.
• Assist the Community Manager with resident activities, newsletters, and retention efforts.
