Job summary

Sandalwood Management, Inc. is seeking a full-time LIHTC Leasing Consultant to assist in the leasing office of Tapestry Aquarena Springs Apartments in San Marcos, TX.

The Leasing Professional is the community’s sales representative. The primary duties are to welcome prospects, understand their needs, and present the features and benefits of the community to secure leases from qualified persons. Prior residential leasing or sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of leasing success.
• Strong admin and communication skills.
• LIHTC experience, required.
• File management experience, required.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Yardi experience, strongly preferred.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Stand and greet everyone who enters the office.
• Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call professionally whether it is a prospect call, resident, service request, etc.
