Job summary

Sandalwood Management seeks a full-time Leasing Consultant for the Tapestry on Orem community in Houston, TX. You will greet prospects, assess needs and present the property to close leases, while staying organized and proactive in service.

LIHTC familiarity and strong leasing experience are preferred; Yardi knowledge is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, handling calls, maintaining market surveys, reviewing applications, and staying informed about local schools,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multifamily property management.
• Strong admin and communication skills.
• LIHTC experience required.
• File management experience required.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Stand and greet everyone who enters the office
• Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call professionally
• Welcome prospects, understand their needs and close the lease
• Inspect tour route, amenities and market-ready vacancies daily
• Maintain knowledge of the community, competitors, and neighborhood
• Help maintain and update market survey monthly
• Review lease applications and notify prospects of results
