You will coordinate closing, booking, and ongoing monitoring to ensure underwriting integrity and portfolio performance, collaborating with Corporate Tax, Accounting, and external syndicators.

The role emphasizes risk management, quarterly reviews, and timely reporting, with a mix of in-office and remote work (4 days in the office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in tax advantaged real estate investments: LIHTC, NMTC, HTC.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of CRA and Public Welfare Investments is beneficial.
• Commercial real estate experience – debt or equity analyst or private development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating closing and booking of new investments, confirming wire instructions, closing benefit schedules (IRR) and validation of syndicators benefits schedule.
• Review of quarterly fund financial reporting, including updated benefit schedules, lower tier asset performance; updating internal tools and reviewing capital call requests.
• Prepare and present commentary on underperforming properties or Funds in the portfolio.
• Review and evaluate consent requests regarding fund investments and supporting documentation.
• Annual review of sponsor and fund investment financials to assess sponsor capacity to oversee compliance.
