Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a District Manager to oversee part of our LIHTC portfolio in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You will report to the Regional Property Manager or Regional Vice President and lead a team across properties in development, construction, and lease-up phases.

The role may include Community Manager duties within the portfolio. You will drive financial performance, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with LIHTC and housing regulations while delivering strong occupancy and income

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
3+ years of experience in property management with recent experience in a Community Manager or Director role; strong experience with market-rate communities; working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing Regulations, IRS Section 42 - LIHTC Program and other laws as they relate to property specific guidelines and occupancy standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all communities to meet financial and operational targets.
Supervise Community Managers and maintenance staff; conduct regular performance reviews.
Prepare annual budgets and asset plans; monitor financials and variances.
Ensure occupancy targets, rent collections, and compliance with LIHTC requirements.
Coordinate pre-lease setup, vendor management, and audit processes.
