Job summary

Indigo Real Estate Services is looking for a Compliance Specialist in Bellingham, Washington. This role focuses on reviewing and processing compliance paperwork for residents and applicants, requiring knowledge of Tax Credit and Section 8 programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of real estate terminology and concepts preferred.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage personal work calendar.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all residents and applicants Tax Credit certification paperwork.
• Communicate with onsite team members in a professional manner.
• Assist Compliance Coordinator with third parties for audit resolution.
• Process monthly compliance reports and year-end reporting.

Skills

Working knowledge of Section 42 tax credit (LIHTC)

Communication skills

Organizational skills

Microsoft Excel proficiency

Yardi Voyager knowledge

Education

Tax credit certifications (WSHFC Fundamental and/or Advanced certificate, HCCP, C3P)

Directly related experience in property management of LIHTC investments
