Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior asset manager to own a growing LIHTC portfolio in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area. The role includes direct exposure to executive leadership, close collaboration with a hands-on Director of Asset Management, and a clear path to leading a team as the portfolio scales.

You will oversee budgeting, proforma tracking, and lifecycle capital planning, while maintaining rigorous compliance and financial performance across assets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of asset management experience, including LIHTC exposure
• Meaningful LIHTC experience with compliance exposure
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling
• Strong leadership and ability to manage teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for senior leadership
• Fully on-site role with minimal travel

Responsibilities

• Develop and own asset management plans for a growing LIHTC portfolio
• Monitor lease-up and ensure proforma adherence and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate site inspections and internal/third-party reviews
• Review and approve annual operating budgets and partner deliverables
• Monitor asset performance against budget and proforma
• Drive milestones: equity installments, loan earn-outs, tax credit testing
• Lead cross-functional meetings to address underperforming assets
• Present portfolio status monthly to executives
• Partner on lifecycle capital plans with Capital Planning
• Support responses to governmental, equity, and lending inquiries
• Manage LIHTC portfolio property insurance renewals
• Become market expert as portfolio expands
• Supervise financial analysts as the team grows
