Job summary

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Field Services Specialist to support the Boston, MA metro area. You will be the face of Lutron at customer sites, commissioning and maintaining advanced lighting and shading systems, and delivering exceptional service throughout the system lifecycle.

The role requires electro-mechanical experience, strong customer service skills, and up to 30% travel. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to improve service delivery and drive customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of combined work/college/trade school experience with an emphasis on electro-mechanical or related field experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook/Teams and Microsoft-based productivity software; networking experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems is required.
• Proven customer service skills when interfacing with clients on jobsites.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship from Lutron.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support and technical expertise to clients throughout the system lifecycle.
• Master commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Lutron Commercial Systems.
• Coordinate and manage site visits with contractors and facility managers.
• Operate independently across diverse commercial job sites.
• Support full lifecycle of Lutron products including training and upgrades.
• Serve as SME for legacy systems and guide clients and teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support to improve service delivery.
