Job summary

FRM Lighting and Controls South Florida in Hallandale Beach, FL seeks a Project Manager to coordinate commercial lighting projects from order entry to delivery. You will be the main liaison among distributors, contractors, manufacturers, and internal teams, ensuring timelines and specs are met.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical distribution or lighting projects, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or coordination in electrical distribution, lighting, construction, or manufacturer's representative.
• Knowledge of commercial lighting products and construction processes is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commercial lighting projects from order entry through final delivery and closeout.
• Serve as primary contact between electrical distributors, contractors, lighting manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Track project schedules, lead times, shipping dates, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for order confirmations, updates, and shipping information.
• Monitor progress and proactively communicate delays or issues to customers and team members.
• Review purchase orders, product specs, and project docs for accuracy.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies and shipping concerns.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular status updates to customers and sales reps.
• Collaborate with sales and quotations teams to ensure project success.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and manufacturing partners.
